Plaid is a set of developer tools and APIs that connect financial data to web applications, serving as a bridge between traditional financial infrastructure (banks) and fintech platforms.
For this RFP, we want to showcase a demo of using Lit Actions and PKPs to sign a response from a Plaid API endpoint to bring banking data from Plaid into web3.
Digital signatures can be used to bring greater credibility to our world at large, creating chains of trust using immutable cryptographic primitives. “Signed data” (whether it be a blockchain tx, verifiable credential, contract, or the like) refers to data that has been signed by a private key, the signature representing proof or consent over a particular digital interaction.
This demo will showcase the use of signed API data on-chain, a primitive that can be used to support numerous use cases, from DeFi to digital identity.
