Description:

Lit Programmable Key Pairs (PKPs) are valid ECDSA wallets minted in the form of an ERC-721 NFT. As such, they are inherently interoperable with the Bitcoin network (Bitcoin, as well as most EVM chains rely on ECDSA for digital signatures).

We want to build a Bitcoin Vault using PKPs, facilitating the use of BTC in cross-chain applications. For example, a user could send a mix of BTC and ETH NFTs to their PKP, and then sell it as a bundle by selling the NFT that controls it on OpenSea. The buyer would then be able to withdraw or utilize the assets contained therein as they desire.

Why?

Expand the utility of BTC by enabling its widespread use in cross-chain DeFi without borders.

What will this tool enable?

The use of BTC on Ethereum and other Lit-enabled chains.
