Upgrade your node’s BIOS (mandatory for leaseweb nodes)

Collect your node information

You will need:

• ssh login info to your machine ( username and path to SSH key )
• An admin E-Mail address
• if on OVH: your machine type ( advance or scale)
• the name of the network you’re going to join ( datil_test or datil )
• your host IP and gateway (same as when you initially set up the node)
• your guest IP and gateway (same as when you initially set up the node)

OS / lit-os upgrade

The OS upgrade is fairly involved, we have scripted it with the widely-used ansible tool for your convenience.

While it is possible to apply the steps manually, we can only support upgrades performed with the above process (what it does is openly auditable).

Depending on your target network, follow

• datil: C. Install Lit OS
• datil_test: C. Install Lit OS
